This model is part of the exclusive Monash 3D anatomy series, a comprehensive series of human dissections reproduced with ultra-high resolution color 3D printing.

This 3D printed model of the male pelvis and thigh is a reproduction in section through the sagittal midplane in the midline and transverse through the intervertebral disc L3/4) shows the superficial and deep structures of the true and false pelvis, inguinal and femoral region.

In the transverse section, the epaxial musculature, abdominal wall musculature (rectus abdominis, external and internal abdominal obliques, transverse abdominis), psoas major and quadratus lumborum are visible and separated from each other, and superficial fat from fascial layers such as rectus sheath and thoracolumbar fascia.

The psoas major muscle lies lateral to the external iliac artery, with the left testicular artery and vein on its superficial surface.
