Performing an injection into the lateral saphenous vein is a procedure that allows venous access in dogs for blood sampling or intravenous (IV) injection.
With "Vicky," trainees can perform venous injections into the lateral saphenous vein as well as intramuscular and subcutaneous injections into the thigh.
The stand is designed to draw blood from a standing dog.
The leg can be easily removed from the stand and provides the ability to draw blood in a lateral position.
