Arm for training to perform intravenous and arterial injections Erler Zimmer R7000.

This injection simulator was developed to train physicians and nursing staff to perform intravenous injections.

A newly developed model, it offers better performance in terms of realism, tactile sensation and resistance to needle puncture than conventional models.

THE venous system has been modeled with a 3D system and can be punctured at any point. Both veins and skin have a self-closing system. In case of malfunction or very frequent punctures on a single spot, a hematoma will occur that is intended to disappear once the blood has dried.

Compared with most simulators of the same type on the market, the soft tissue and bone structures are modeled much more realistically and can be felt very well by touch.

The simulator is suitable for performing several hundred injections, depending on the size of the needle and the injection technique.

The synthetic blood used for the simulator has been specially developed, and it seals the veins after the injection has been given, making the model much more durable than conventional models.

No maintenance is provided for this type of simulator, and after heavy use it needs to be replaced, but given the long life and hundreds of exercises possible with this model the reduction in maintenance costs represents a considerable amount of money.

The other new features of this innovative manikin are the possibility of radial pulse simulation and the extremely realistic insertion of arterial accesses, including the Seldinger technique.
