This new horse foot model is made from a natural cast, and is life-size.

The natural cast to make this extraordinary anatomical model was obtained using computed tomography, and the data obtained was used to reproduce it with ultra-high resolution 3D printing.

The anatomical model of horse foot was made by color 3D printing, each anatomical component is individually colored. The hoof capsule is available separately and fixes the distal limb in the stance position.

This series of equine veterinary anatomical models consists of four models: starting with model 1 showing the complete anatomy of the foot and consisting of 25 anatomical structures to step-by-step reduced models showing the deeper anatomical structures.

The Erler Zimmer VET4430 Anatomical Horse Foot modelis made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is very hard, lightweight, and corrosion resistant. PVC resists reactions with acids, alcohol gasoline, and hydrocarbons.
