The latest model in the 3B MICROanatomy™ series, which reproduces the tongue, offers exceptional opportunities through different magnifications of specific lingual areas. This model includes a life-size reproduction of the tongue (dorsal view) and microscopic depiction of individual papillae (magnified 10 to 20 times) and a gustatory button (magnified approximately 450 times). The 3B Scientific D17 anatomical tongue model is produced from polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is very hard, lightweight and corrosion resistant. PVC resists reactions with acids, alcohol gasoline, and hydrocarbons.
