This medical simulator Is used for tracheostomy training.

The tracheostomy management medical simulator can be used to practice cannula placement and suction procedures for patients undergoing tracheostomy in nursing and home care settings.
The model can be disassembled into two halves; the tracheal area is transparent, which allows the position of the cannula and the position of the suction cannula to be checked.
With a special cannula provided, it is possible to connect and operate a ventilator with a simulated lung (not included).

• Because the trachea is transparent, the filling of the cannula balloon can be checked using the colored cannula included. In this way, the optimal pressure can be determined. The back wall of the trachea is made of soft material, so the practitioner can feel the pressure in the trachea if the balloon is too full.
• The transparent trachea allows you to explain how to place the suction catheter and how suction can be performed with the top of the cuff. This exercise is performed with the included artificial slime.
• The soft neck skin allows the user to feel the laryngeal cartilage through the skin.
• The removable trachea allows description of areas where granulations may normally occur.
• A ventilator with the included cannula and simulated lung can be operated. In case of air leakage, the ventilator alarm tone is activated.
