This transparent female catheter model was developed as a learning tool for both simulation of catheter insertion and anatomical study.

With this model, it is possible to visualize a balloon catheter in place, the flow of urine, and the relative position of the pelvis and bladder through a transparent hypogastrium.

The external genitalia are made of a special soft material, which makes the simulator extremely realistic. The pelvis, bladder and anatomical parts are made so that the inclination of catheter insertion and permanence can be learned.
