This injection simulator was developed to train physicians and nursing staff to perform lumbar or spinal injections on an adult patient.

Designed to help future anesthesiologists-in-training acquire the skills necessary to properly perform epidural anesthesia without the risk of causing harm to a real patient.

The epidural needle must be inserted at the correct depth; if the student inserts the needle too deeply a slight resistance is felt before the needle enters the dura.
